Logo design

I recently designed a logo for a snooker cue company. The client came up with several sketches and ideas and I re-interpreted them into a new logo.

The logo had to feature a Claymore sword and Celtic syle font. The ‘O’ in Claymore was to feature a swirl. As I worked on the logo I had to find a place for the Claymore and came up with the idea of having the sword going through the swirl.

Initial ideas were sent to the client and feedback included the colour scheme and the preference of placing the sword over the top. I came up with the logo seen below and the client was happy with the final outcome for his business.

Claymore Cues logo. Claymore Cues is in an Old Irish font and coloured blue and the 'O' in Claymore is a round shield navy blue shield with silver centre and a Claymore sword in front of it pointing down vertically.
